Jimmy Kimmel Took a Jab at Trump’s Exposed Empty Seats and People Leaving During His Rally Speech

On Jimmy Kimmel’s show on Thursday, a topic that painfully affects Donald Trump was brought up again — the size of his audience. Speaking at a rally on Long Island, New York, earlier this week, the former president boasted, “No one draws a crowd like I do,” reports HuffPost.
“I’m the greatest of all time, maybe even better than Elvis, because he had a guitar and I don’t. Elvis had a guitar. I don’t have the privilege of a guitar,” Trump said.
Kimmel couldn’t resist poking fun at Trump’s statement, continuing the train of thought with a sarcastic twist:
“Because of my tiny hands, I can’t play the guitar,” the host joked.
To test Trump’s bold claim, Kimmel aired footage from the Nassau Coliseum event, which showed many empty seats and people leaving the venue before the speech ended.
“Elvis hasn’t left the building,” Kimmel quipped. “But half the audience has.”
Crowd size has been a sensitive and painful topic for Trump for years. He frequently brags about his large turnouts but becomes visibly irritated when faced with evidence of empty seats or early departures.
Kamala Harris raised this same topic during their debate earlier this month. Not only did it throw Trump off during the discussion, but it continued to irritate him weeks later.
