Prince Harry is not facing deportation from the United States. As reported by The New York Post, US President Donald Trump stated this.
“I don’t want to do that. I’ll leave him alone. He already has enough problems with his wife [Meghan Markle]. She’s terrible,” Trump stated.
Questions about the legality of Prince Harry’s stay in the U.S. arose after the release of his autobiography, in which he admitted to drug use — something he should have disclosed when applying for a visa.
Earlier, Trump commented on the situation involving Meghan Markle and Queen Elizabeth II. According to the Daily Mail, he condemned Markle for her “disrespectful” attitude toward the Queen and blamed her for Harry’s estrangement from his family.
He also expressed disagreement with the fact that Prince Harry and his wife receive security in the U.S., despite Queen Elizabeth II’s efforts to ensure their safety, as evidenced by correspondence between her secretary and British officials.
Moreover, Trump was surprised that King Charles III invited his younger son to the coronation despite all the accusations against the Royal Family.
As early as 2021, Trump had stated that Meghan used Harry for personal gain, distancing him from his family and causing irreparable damage to their relationship, which was a great disappointment to the Queen. He also supported stripping the couple of their titles.
